Who is it now?

Look into my eyes... don't blink!

Okay, so I’m not making it terribly difficult for many of you out there. I’d rather share my progress! This sculpt is harder than I thought it would be due to the mouth. Teeth needed special consideration here and had to be baked first. I didn’t want them to darken (that’s what tends to happen when you mix Sculpey III with Super Sculpey) and only baked them for half the prescribed time. This resulted in them being inconveniently brittle. I made it work, though. When I’m done this will be displayed in the art room at Foolscap 14 in Redmond, WA, this weekend.

About waywardclay

I am a musician and designer living in the Pacific Northwest. I have a day job, but you won't hear about that here. I make things out of thoughts, situations, polymer clay, and other media. Sometimes they're actually pretty good. Visit my Etsy store or download my available songs from iTunes.
